Ear & Map
Stop guessing what you're hearing. Learn to feel tension, rest, gravity, and color — then map those sounds directly inside the piano roll.
A weekly rhythm of async lessons, live mentoring, real feedback,
and music you actually build.
Async content during the week. You apply it to your own music. At the end of the week, Fran sits with your group — twelve people, one hour — to hear what you built. The community is always open in between.
Video lessons and DAW exercises applied directly to your own music. Your track is always the instrument.
One hour. Maximum 12 producers. Your music discussed in real time. Can't make it? Every session is recorded and added to your library.
A focused space built around real music and real growth. Share work in progress, ask why something isn't working, watch how others solve the same problems.
Complete quests, earn marks, submit milestone projects. When your work is approved, unlock a private 15-minute review with Fran.
The path opens ahead of you. You decide the pace. New stages become available as the Academy grows — you can always go slower, revisit earlier work, and move at the speed your music needs. There are no deadlines and your progress never resets.
Stop guessing what you're hearing. Learn to feel tension, rest, gravity, and color — then map those sounds directly inside the piano roll.
Write with intention instead of trial and error. Chords, bass lines, hooks, motifs, groove, and musical ideas that can actually grow.
Break free from 4-bar loops. Build contrast, energy, transitions, and real musical storytelling beyond the loop.
Make multiple lines work together — melody, bass, inner movement, countermelodies, and counterpoint designed for the piano roll generation.
Use the full system to shape music that sounds intentional, personal, and recognizably yours.
You can always go slower, revisit earlier stages, and work at your own pace. Progress is tracked through work submitted, approved, and recognized.
Small focused assignments inside your DAW. Applied to your own music at each stage.
One larger project per milestone proving you can apply the system — not in a drill, in your actual music.
Submit your milestone project. Reviewed against the purpose of that stage.
Once approved, unlock a private 15-minute 1:1 with Fran — focused entirely on your music and your next step.
Every milestone includes short Creative Quests — focused exercises inside your DAW applied to your real sessions. At the end of each milestone, a Boss Challenge brings everything together into one project using your own music.
The Milestone Review is a focused 15 minutes with Fran on your submitted project. He listens. He names what is working. He tells you what to focus on next. Your music. Your next step. Nothing else.
One review per completed milestone — earned when your work is submitted and approved. Scheduled through Calendly and subject to Fran's availability.
Complete the Creative Quests and Boss Challenge for that milestone using your own music.
Your work is reviewed against the purpose of that milestone stage.
Unlock a private 15-minute session with Fran. Your music, your next step.
Between the async content and the live session, the community is always open. Share work in progress, ask why something isn't working, and watch how other producers solve the same musical problems you are facing. This is not a noisy space full of random chat — it is a focused, high-signal environment built around real music and real growth.
Groups of up to 12. One hour with Fran. Every session recorded — available in your library if you can't attend live.
Share your tracks at any stage. Get focused feedback from Fran and from producers working through the same system.
Post completed quests, milestone wins, and before/after comparisons. Growth is visible here.
Selected finished work is featured in TMMP showcases. Your music, heard by the community.
Marks are earned through approved work — not time, not payment, not self-assessment. Each mark carries the name of a concept because it proves you can apply it.
Identify tension, rest, gravity, and tonal center by ear inside your own track.
Move musical function across keys inside the piano roll with the same map.
Turn a 4-bar idea into a developed section with contrast, energy, and direction.
Write melody, bass, and inner movement that interact — not just coexist.
Explain in writing why your track works and what you would change — and why.
Templates, session files, cheat sheets, and frameworks unlock as you complete each milestone.
Complete the full path, submit the final project, receive approval — and earn the TMMP Academy Certificate.
When you complete all five milestones, submit the final project, and receive approval, you earn the official TMMP Academy Certificate. Approved graduates also receive a physical Platinum Producer Plaque for their studio.
This is not a digital badge. It is a physical object — the kind that goes on the wall behind you when you record, the kind you photograph and post, the kind that says you did the work.
Graduation is tied to the submission and approval of your final Your Style project — not time. When your music is ready, so are you.
Physical plaques are shipped in scheduled graduation batches.
